15 MORE DAYS to submit LPG documents :
If you realized that LPG connection been suspended from online website, The department of food,civil supplies and consumers affairs has issued notification to suspend illegal connections.However,if your LPG connection is a legal one,you still have 15 more days to furnish the required details.
Minister for energy and food,civil supplies and consumers affairs Shobha Karandlaje told TOI: If someone fails to submit details during this time,the LPG connection will be cancelled.People can register their RR number online or in the taluk offices.An officer will help people file the details online.
On Thursday,the department of food,civil supplies and consumer affairs announced that it had identified over 32 lakh LPG connections and 17 lakh ration cards in the state to be illegal.
All the cases where RR numbers havent been given to the authorities are considered to be illegal connections.
Food,civil supplies and consumer affairs department secretary B A Harish Gowda said: We do not rule out mistakes from our side.There might be errors during data entry.Hence,15 days time is given to correct the mistakes.Inspectors have already started work.They will inspect where more than one house has one common RR number.
The department will suspend service to the following beneficiaries:
Cases where electricity meter RR numbers are not furnished Non-domestic electricity meter numbers are furnished More than one ration card or LPG consumer number linked to one EM-RR number and beneficiaries are the same Address in ration card or domestic LPG connection,and address in electricity meter RR number are different.These are considered to have violated either clause 3 of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order 2000 or Clause 3 of Karnataka (Prevention of Unauthorised Possession of Ration Cards) Order 1977,or both Persons authorized to run fair price shops and LPG distribution agencies have been asked not to supply foodgrains,sugar,kerosene and LPG cylinders to such suspended beneficiaries
